Last month we had the pleasure in welcoming Clare Bottle, CEO of UK Warehousing Association (UKWA), and Priti Patel, former Home Secretary on their visit to Commodity Centre as part of the ‘Around the Warehouses in 80 visits’ tour.

It was an honour to showcase our operations and share how we have achieved such growth over the last 30+ years through technology and innovations. Part of their tour included watching a demonstration of the German Bionic Exoskeletons which are employed for unloading containers which have led to enhanced efficiency and improved job satisfaction across our employees. They also had the opportunity to witness a bulk coffee container unload with our specialist machinery.

We value the work and support that Clare and the UKWA provide through championing our industry and were thrilled to be selected as one of the 80 businesses that Clare is visiting over the year.
